The Cathedral of San Martinho is one of the oldest in Galicia and, at first glance, resembles a fortress due to its thick walls and defensive towers. However, a marvel is hidden inside: the Portico of Paradise, a polychrome sculptural ensemble reminiscent of the famous Portico of Glory in Santiago de Compostela. Furthermore, its Chapel of the Holy Christ is one of the most venerated in Galicia, with an image of Christ whose hair, according to legend, grows.
