Known as the “Kneeling Cathedral” due to its low height compared to other cathedrals, Mondonhedo Cathedral is one of the most charming in Galicia. Its blend of Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque styles gives it a unique personality. Its greatest treasure is its archive-library, which preserves historical documents dating back to the 12th century. It also houses the Cathedral and Diocesan Museum, one of the oldest in the Iberian Peninsula.
