The Cathedral of Santa María de Tui is one of the most impressive cathedrals due to its dual function: temple and fortress. Located on the border with Portugal, its towers and walls reflect its defensive past. Its Gothic interior is spectacular, but its most notable feature is its medieval cloister, the only complete one preserved in Galician cathedrals. Furthermore, from its tower, you can enjoy incredible panoramic views over the Minho River and the Portuguese city of Valença.
